The Special Issue titled “Emerging Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Multidisciplinary Intelligent Systems” aims to provide a multidisciplinary academic platform for researchers, academicians, scientists, and technology professionals to explore recent advancements, emerging challenges, and innovative applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and intelligent computing technologies across diverse fields. This Special Issue brings together research contributions focusing on Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), autonomous systems, and advanced data-driven technologies. It highlights the growing role of intelligent systems in transforming research methodologies, decision-making processes, automation, and digital innovation. The scope extends to interdisciplinary applications of AI in healthcare, education, cybersecurity, defence technologies, business intelligence, smart infrastructure, and assistive technologies. Particular emphasis is placed on privacy-preserving AI, explainable and trustworthy intelligent systems, autonomous decision-making, early disease detection, personalized learning, and AI-enabled monitoring and management solutions. By integrating theoretical perspectives, technological frameworks, critical reviews, and application-oriented research, this Special Issue seeks to encourage scholarly collaboration, promote responsible AI development, and advance innovative solutions to contemporary scientific, technological, and societal challenges. Published in the BODHIVRUKSHA JOURNAL OF DIVERSE DISCIPLINE (BJDD), this Special Issue aims to contribute to academic knowledge, interdisciplinary research, and the development of intelligent technologies that support sustainable innovation and societal progress.

Protective coatings are the first line of defence against corrosion on naval, aerospace and land defence platforms, yet their condition is still judged largely by human visual inspection, which is subjective, difficult to audit and hard to scale across a fleet. Recent d...
Classrooms that rely on a single, general-purpose AI tool to support students with disabilities tend to cover very little of what those students actually need, because such tools are built for one input or output channel and cannot adjust a lesson in response to how a s...
Most public toilets are cleaned on a timetable. Nobody counts how many people actually used them, nobody notices the water tank running low until it is empty, and the air inside can turn hot and damp for hours without anyone knowing. We built a small prototype to see ho...
Depression is a major mental-health condition that affects emotion, behaviour, communication and daily functioning, and its early identification remains a significant challenge for both clinicians and researchers. Conventional assessment relies mainly on clinical interv...
Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is largely underdiagnosed due to the reference test, overnight polysomnography (PSG) requiring a sleep laboratory and trained staff. Because loud, habitual snoring is among the first outward signs of OSA, a number of recent studies ask whet...
During their training, Large Language Models (LLMs) learn their knowledge in the form of parameters. As a result, LLMs can be prone to hallucination (generation of misinformation) and have outdated information. They are also limited in terms of what they can understand...
Software project planning involves defining the scope, requirements, stakeholders’ roles, task dependencies, duration of each task and potential risks. For the most part, these activities are carried out manually and highly depend on the experience of project managers....
Facial recognition technology has become an important component of modern computer vision systems and is widely used for authentication, surveillance, access control, social media applications, and identity verification. However, the increasing use of automated facial r...
The grading of fruits and vegetables is mostly dependent on subjective visual inspection techniques that require labor. Computers and advanced machine learning systems can help to invent non-destructive tools for quality evaluation of fruits and vegetables based on colo...
Dead spacecraft and burnt-out rocket bodies and the pieces of spacecraft and rocket that fragments from old spacecraft collisions make are getting more and more crowded in orbit around the planet. The smallest and faintest of these objects is hard to detect with surveys...
Cloned voices are now cheap to make and easy to misuse in phone scams that imitate a relative or a colleague. This review paper examines what the research literature offers for defending ordinary users against such calls and uses it to propose Voice-Clone Guardian, a mo...
Generative AI assistants are now being used for work purposes, often beyond the view of enterprise IT, security, and compliance functions, creating a shadowy14 area where data usage is difficult to track and responsibility hard to establish. By analyzing six different p...
